Meet Our Team

Let’s face it. Reading a bio online is no substitute for a face-to-face chat. We’d love the chance to meet in person to get to know you and discuss how we can help your business or your personal finances. But for now, we’re happy to have this opportunity to share a bit more about ourselves.

Terri L. Vedders
Terri L. VeddersCPA
Terri has been serving clients for over 25 years. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington, she successfully completed her training to become a certified public accountant. But being a bean counter is only a part of her story.

She’s a longtime Camano Island resident that loves her community. She and her husband, who’s also a CPA, got their start in Woodinville, raising horses and their two daughters, but moved to the island in 2000. Their girls attended schools there and in Stanwood. Terri brought her passion for finance to the PTA, starting a program that taught financial literacy by helping students open savings accounts.

Her love for the island is matched only by her passion for art, once serving as a board member for the Museum of Northwest Art in LaConner. You’ll be treated to some of her collection when you visit our office. She’s thrilled that she gets to share that, and her island home with her three beautiful grandchildren.

Karla is a relative newcomer to the office, having joined the team near the end of 2019, but she is a longtime friend. She and Terri have known each other since their children were in elementary school together. Her wealth of experience made her the perfect addition. She holds a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.

Prior to taking her current position, she spent 13 years as the Executive Director for the Camano Center. Karla and her husband raised their three grown sons on Camano Island, having lived here for the last 28 years. She’s passionate about serving the community, once serving as president for the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce. Her love for the island and her strong management skills find the perfect home in our office.
